FA Cup semi finalists Okwahu United lead a host of Division One League outfits who risk losing their traditional home venues for the 2016/17 Division One League season.
A report cited by footballmadeinghana.com from the Club Licensing Board ( CLIB) rejected some venues submitted by 48 clubs in the lower tier after conducting inspections club venues and secretariats from Friday, January 20 to Thursday, January 26, 2017.
Nania FC, Sporting Mirren, Danbort FC, Okyemang Planners and Zein FC make up a six team list whose venues do not meet the standards of the board in Zone Three.
Reasons for the decisions include unavailability of dressing rooms, weak inner perimeter fences, dilapidated stadium walls and lack of functional club secretariats.
Meanwhile Kumasi based King Faisal are also battling against time to name an alternative venue after the board cited the similar reasons for it’s rejection. Below is the full list of clubs with venues rejected.
