Ghana international John Antwi is set to make his debut appearance for new club Masr El Maqasa against Petrojets in the quarterfinal stage of the Egyptian FA Cup competition on Wednesday night.

Tonight’s game will be Antwi’s first since making a loan switch from reigning Egyptian champions Al Ahly last month with the Egyptian football calendar also on break due to the just ended 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Antwi, 24, is expected to lead the attack for Ehab Gala’s squad to immediately take up the role of fellow country man Nana Poku who moved from the Fayoum based club to UAE outfit Al Shabab in December 2016.

A win for Misr El Maqassa will see them move into the semis and could possibly set up a date with heavyweights Ismaily.
